Item numbers 1145 through 2874 in auction 209
Item Description
Original illustrated thin cardboard box has graphics of hand holding sparkling pistol with bottom end panel of boy and soldier both holding sparkling pistols. Box contains 6.5" long painted pressed steel gun that uses same exact design as Flash Gordon pistol of the same 1930s period. This one has "Siren Sparkling Celebration Pistol" Spirit of '76 decal w/patriotic design. Decal has a few tiny flakes but mostly complete. Gun works and has loud siren and sparks. Scattered minor paint nicks/wear. Fine overall. Box is complete and shows scattered wear along edges and at corners w/some creases. End flap and one inner flap have .5" tears. Fine and w/great graphics. A scarce gun in this version. Great futuristic design. From the John Bowers Collection.
