Item Description
See previous Mickey Mouse Pepsodent standee #2032. This is 15x31" tall die-cut Donald Duck cardboard standee. Great image of Donald w/word balloon reading "We're On The Air For Pepsodent," referencing the Pepsodent-sponsored radio show that was popular on the airwaves at the time. Original easel on back is mostly missing. Front has tiny trace of edge wear w/2.25" crease at lower left. Display has some scattered dust soiling and top of Donald's sailor cap has been penciled into word balloon. Top right edge of word balloon has 2" creased area which shows some wear. Standee remains bright w/vibrant color. Fine. Superb design. Rare. First we've offered of Donald in our 47 years. In our last auction, the Clarabelle Cow version of this sign sold for $2,053.
