4.5x6x2" deep tin litho base has attached 5.5" tall tin litho "All Stars" baseball player figure and 3-1/8" tall baseball delivery system. Made in Japan by Sankei, 1950s. Base is decorated w/many baseball team names, including - White Sox, Red Sox, Yankees, Phillies, Pirates, Giants, Tigers, Cleveland Indians, Milwaukee Braves, Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Athletics, Washington Senators, Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs. Realistic batter holds bat in hand, just above ball delivery mechanism. When turned on (built-in on/off switch on base), one of seven included hard plastic spring-loaded balls pops up and batter moves up and down then swings sending ball a good distance. Toy functions work well. Scattered lt. wear/aging w/some factory paint touch-ups to top of base. Player has tiny spot of lt. oxidation on shoulder but o/w toy is VF.
