Rawlings Official Ball 1989 World Series A. Bartlett Giamatti ball has 34 signatures from the 1989 San Francisco Giants, who lost the World Series to the Oakland Athletics. The World Series was disrupted and delayed due to the Loma Prieta earthquake that struck just prior to the start of Game 3. Signatures are in blue and black ink, some key players include - Manager Roger Craig, Will Clark, Matt Williams, Dusty Baker, Dave Dravecky, Rick Reuschel, Steve Bedrosian and Scott Garrelts. Other signatures include - Norm Sherry, Kirt Manwaring, Atless Hammaker, Candy Maldonado, Donell Nixon (2), Ernest Riles, Kim Wendell, Craig Lefferts, Jeff Brantley, Chris Speier, Bob Brenly, Bill Fahey, Pat Sheridan, Greg Litton, Terry Kennedy, Bill Bathe, Ken Oberkfell, Mike LaCoss, Robby Thompson, Kelly Downs, Don Robinson, Kime Krukow, Brett Butler, Bob Lillis and Bob Knepper. Ball has some scattered dust soiling and aging but signatures for the most part remain distinct. VF overall. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
