Item Description
First is .75" in brass with nice luster highlights. Bust of Grant on the front with tiny text below naming designer "Key." Reverse text in a wreath reads "For President General U.S. Grant 1868." NM. Second is 1" brass with his name and portrait on the front. Reverse reads "Struck And Distributed In The Municipal Parade/By The Employee's Of The U.S. Mint Phila. Dec. 16. 1879." A little dark tarnish on the left side of the reverse but only light general wear. This piece is considered a hopeful item for the 1880 campaign.
