Item Description
The piece with jugate obverse is 1" in silvered brass. Listed by DeWitt as 1880-10 but only in silver or brass, not silvered brass. Tiny touch of silvering off Garfield's cheek but about 97% remains overall. Reverse has shield inscribed "Union" with the candidate names above and below. Exc. Second item is 1" brass with his name and portrait on the front. Reverse shows boy on horse with line leading to a barge plus image of the White House above and text below "Canal Boy 1845/President 1881." Likely produced for the inauguration rather than the campaign. Some small tarnish dots but much luster. Last is .75" in brass or copper listed as DeWitt 1880-13. Front has his bust and name while reverse reads "Republican Candidate For President Of The U.S. 1880." Light wear. VF.
