Item Description
Each is 1.5" with metal covered back and horizontal bar pin. The McKinley has a pin but the shaft is about 3/8" too short to fix into the securing cut out in the tin. There is also some light oxidation on the tin reverse in the area which shows as stain on front beneath Roosevelt's portrait. Over 90% celluloid displays bright and clean. The Bryan is Hake #3186 with a 2004 guide value of $300.00. This has a correct pin on the reverse and the front displays extremely clean and glossy although in reflected light the celluloid has small areas with extremely thin layers of translucent glue along with a number of very fine surface scratches, but nothing that breaks through the celluloid. Viewed straight on the piece displays NM and the damage shows only in reflected light. Quite a scarce pair that would be in the $400-$600 range in Exc. condition.
