Item Description
1.25" with backpaper by Lilley, Columbus. Reverse has fixed horizontal bar pin. Front has title at top "The Watchword" with text below "Stand By The Republic." Celluloid has pinpoint dots of age on the extreme perimeter but not very dark or distracting. The area over Stevenson's photo has bumpiness to the surface and the area at the upper left is very slightly depressed. In spite of these defects the piece retains extremely high gloss and is perfectly centered. This rarity is Hake 342 with 2004 guide value of $1,200.00. This example still displays extremely well.
