Item Description
35x58". Features the 48-star design that graced the American Flag before the inclusion of Alaska and Hawaii into the Union in 1959. Flag is boldly signed in black ink on the second white stripe from the top by both World War II leaders. During World War II, Roosevelt and Churchill developed a close friendship which would set the stage for American-British relations as we know it. Flag has some scattered aging, which is mostly visible on white areas. Small snag in blue field of flag. Signatures remain bold and distinctive. Fine. Accompanying image is for catalog display purposes only. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Hake’s.
