10x14.25x1.75" deep box contains parts for 1920s game featuring Walter Johnson (for Johnson bio, see previous item #1035). Box lid features photo image of Johnson against baseball game bkg. Lid has some edge wear w/small tears at corners. Box bottom has game board in tray and illustrated baseball game scorecard at bottom. Box bottom remains clean and tight. Box is VG/Fine overall. Comes w/eight 5/8" dia. aluminum "Walter Johnson Base Ball Game" tokens w/his image and heavy metal top w/baseball plays. Game comes w/photocopies of this game's paper scorecards and instructions. VF. Scarce game.
