Item Description
First is heavy white metal with a dark bronze finish. Front has 1.25” real photo celluloid of TR while reverse has real photo celluloid picturing and reading “For Governor Judge S. W. Pennypacker.” This piece came off a 1902 ribbon badge used by Pennsylvania State League Of Republican Clubs at their Erie convention September 17-18, 1902. While the ribbon is gone what remains is Mint. Second item is a 1.5” celluloid mounted to an ornate slanted rim brass frame with a soldered loop at the top. Reverse of the piece is flat metal with a pair of brass ears which hold the celluloid to the frame. About half the reverse is in gold color and the other half in metallic gray. The front celluloid is Exc. Only example we’ve seen.
