Item Description
1.75” with name of maker Phila Badge on the curl. The reverse of the button has a standard opening for a spring pin but apparently long ago a small dot of solder was added to hold a horizontal brass safety pin. In doing that the heat caused a 1/8” white circular mark in the celluloid on the bridge of his nose. This small mark is slightly raised and just a little noticeable to the touch. The rest of the button remains totally clean. See following related item. This item is Hake #2012 with 2004 guide value of $496.00. Rare.
