Item Description
This "George’Babe’Ruth" signature series Louiville Slugger Youth Baseball bat is signed "To Johnny Reese from Babe Ruth." Manufactured by Hillerich & Bradsby Company in the 1930s-1940s. Bat is signed in black ink some of which has some light rubs but it is still legible and distinct. Bat is uncracked and does not suffer from much if any wear. Bat is Exc. with a VF/Exc signature. Bat comes with original photo of Babe Ruth with bat recipient, Johnny Reese taken at time of bat signing. Photo shows an older Babe Ruth with cigar standing with young boy. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Hake’s.
