Item Description
First is 5.75" tall card which has attached 1.5" enamel badge with needle post and clutch reverse. Badge has symbolic hands in various colors with text "Hand In Hand/Together" surrounded by rim text "The San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Day Parade And Celebration 30 June 1991." Text on the card names artist as Tony Hurd with this piece designated 098/500. Card has a light center crease but the badge itself is Mint. Also see San Francisco related Harvey Milk campaign and memorial buttons #396. Second item in this group is 2-3/16" with rim text "3rd Annual Black Lesbian And Gay Pride Day." Heart design includes a pair of black clasped hands as well as symbols for male and female plus text "D.C. May '93." Background has a few scattered near pinpoint faint age dots but barely showing. Both pieces are from the Levin Collection and come with Hake's COA.
