1.25" with maker name on curl.  Text reads "Wattle Day League S.A. 1918."  This day is a celebration in Australia of the first day of spring symbolized by the use of acacias, know by the common name "Wattle" in Australia.  The first event of the South Australian  (S.A.) branch was celebrated in 1910 with this button coming from the WWI year of 1918.  Exc. color, NM.
