Each is on thin art board w/hand lettered title and art in India ink, tempera, and watercolor. First has 5-1/8x8-3/8” image area titled “Kistler’s Komments” showing cowboy on horseback wearing sombrero smoking cigarette on hilltop. Signed and dated “ Edgar Church 13”. Second has 4.75x7.5” image area titled “Cactus Valley By Edgar F. Church” w/cactus scene at top. Both are clean, bright, and Exc. Edgar Church was a freelance commercial artist who had a huge magazine collection. His comic collection is legendary, known as the Edgar Church Collection or the Mile High Collection.
