Item Description
See following item #1785 Edgar Church original art cover designs. Each is on 5-1/8x8” art board w/hand lettered title and art in India ink, tempera, and watercolor for lunber company publications. First is Vol. 1 No. 7 Sept. 18 on blue accent board showing lumberjack in river working log jam. Lower left has Hallock & Howard lumber company logo. Next is “Vol. 1 No. 8 October 1918” showing young man daydreaming near river also w/logo. Both are signed on front, first original has Church’s name and address on reverse. Each has paper overlay w/ “Brock-Haffner Press Co.” ink stamp. Well done.
