Item Description
Art boards average 11.5x14.5” w/original pen and ink art by creator George Baker, who has signed all four covers in ink. Art is for Harvey Publications issues Sept.-Nov. 1962 and Jan. 1963. Scenes include being set on fire by blow torch from manhole, being hit by farmer’s pitchfork in haystack, twirling meat cleaver while watching ball game and cutting Sarge’s pants, rapidly shining boots and tickling soldier in bunk’s feet. Dog Muttsy is in all four covers. A few margin pencil notes. Image areas will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. Well drawn and funny.
