Item Description
Two thin art boards for October 21 fit together to form 14-7/8x16-7/8” India ink image area w/12 panels. A bum saves Dagwood from getting hit by a truck. Dagwood takes him home, gives him a bath w/flea powder, clean clothes, a big meal and a cigar. The bum phones “Me Goilfriend Lulu to Come Over And Meet Youse”. He tells Lulu “We Can Get Married-I Have A Home” and Dagwood throws them both out in panel 12. Dagwood is in 11 panels, Blondie is in five, the bum is in 11 , Daisy is in four. Complete w/ King Features Syndicate copyright sticker. Glued in place title logo has usually tanning, image area otherwise Exc. A funny well drawn example from a prime period.
