Item Description
c. 1980s. Stiff art board has 5.5x8.5” image area in India ink and watercolor w/Daredevil standing atop the Statue of Liberty’s crown about to throw a boomerang at The Claw who towers menacingly over city. Top has “The Comic Book Price Guide” hand lettered logo, though never used. Lower right corner tip of board is signed in pencil by noted Captain Marvel and Captain Tootsie artist “C.C. Beck”. Bright and NM. Wonderful detail by the legendary Golden Age artist. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection. Comes w/COA.
