Item Description
Unlike their namesake, this is a large 15.5" tall figural store display. Display depicts Victorian couple, w/top hat-wearing man carrying present. This design was first used in 1947 as "R.H. Stearns 1847 Couple" and back has incised P.W. Prescott 1947 copyright. This piece dates to 1982 and has incised "Sebastian Miniatures" name on front of base. Top of base has been signed in black felt tip pen by Prescott W. Baston, one of the creators of the popular Sebastian Miniatures used for various advertising figures. Scattered dust soiling to base and .25" sliver off by beginning of incised name. Still displays Exc.
