Item Description
8.25x11.5x3" deep illustrated cardboard box. ©1930 Williamson Candy Co. Used by authority of Correll and Gosden. Box originally contained two dozen 5¢ candy bars. Top of lid features nice images of Amos and Andy at center, at bottom is caricature of them in taxi cab. Text reads "Um-Um' Ain't Dat Sumpin! - A Delicious Honeycomb Candy Coated With Rich Chocolate." Each side panel has "Amos 'n' Andy" name w/additional text including "It Melts In Your Mouth" plus different portrait images of them on right and left sides. Lid has corner split and edge wear. Box still displays Fine.
