Page is from 1979, the last year creator Dale Messick drew the strip. 14.5x21.5” thin art board has seven panels dated “1-28”. Brenda’s in the newsroom talking to Hank about younger man Sparky. She leaves and sees her husband Basil driving in their car w/pretty Slipper Veil and decides to follow in a taxi. Logo is a hand colored photo stat. Bright and Exc. Complete w/Chicago Tribune copyright sticker. Nice dramatic example w/all main characters by the legendary female comic strip artist who began the strip in 1940.
