Art is signed in white paint at bottom “Fred Fredericks”. Thin art board has 10x15” India ink image done for Marvel “Defenders Of The Earth” comic # 4 page 25 from July 1987, the last issue in the series. Mandrake is in six of seven panels trying to rescue boy from villain Kshin who zaps Mandrake at end of page. Margins have usual editorial note, bottom margin is signed in ink “Fred Frederick Inks”. Both image areas are Exc. Fredericks has drawn the “Mandrake The Magician” comic strip for over 40 years, did “The Phantom” Sunday comic strip for five years, and inked many comic books.
