Item Description
11x39.5x24.25" tall wooden rocking horse. Mengel Co., Inc. c. 1935. 4" dia. image of Tom on both sides of Tony's hips, surrounded by "Tom Mix And Tony" text. Complete w/fabric reins. The same company also made a riding toy w/a similar generic design and both are equally rare. Overall scattered paint loss, most noticeable on wooden seat, bottom area and hand grips. Sides of Tony have scattered lt. wear and age fading to red portions of saddle and bridle. Still structurally sound and VG overall w/great design and nice for display.
