Oct.28, 1950 issued by The Lone Ranger, Inc. Five typewritten onionskin sheets, each 8.5x13”, for period Nov.25 through Dec. 3, 1950 event at St. Louis Kiel Auditorium. Payment is $1500 plus expenses for nine evening and six matinee performances. Stipulations include not being required to ride horseback if track is wet or slippery, and not allowed to use phrases “Hi-Yo Silver Or Hi-Yo Silver, Away”. Page four is signed in ink at bottom “Geo. Trendle” and “Jay Silverheels”. Sheets have a few minor creases, blank top edges have staple holes. Overall Fine. Signatures are bold and Exc. Silverheels (1912-1980) was born Harold J. Smith. He played Tonto on the TV show from 1949 to 1957, and in the 1956 and 1958 feature films. Historic document signed by two major Lone Ranger related figures. From the archives of Detroit’s WXYZ and obtained by former long time station employee Jiam DesJardin.
