Inside front cover has ink drawing in center of smiling Batman signed “To My Friend Charlie Roberts ‘Bats Wishes’ Bob Kane”. Lower left has inscription “ Best Wishes-Sheldon ‘Shelly’ Moldoff Bob’s First Assistant ‘39”. Facing page has ink signatures: “To Charlie Roberts A Real Super Guy Good Luck and Best Wishes from The Artist-Creator Of Superman- Joe Shuster/Jerry Siegel/To Charlie Roberts With Best Wishes From Will Eisner/To Charlie Who Bought My First Flash Re-creation Harry Lampert/First Editor Of Action Comics + Detective #27 Vin Sullivan”. Lower left has smiling art of Batman saying “Best To My Friend Charlie” signed “Batman & Jerry Robinson”. Interior “Batman” splash page has “Bob Kane” signature. Dust wrapper has light edge curling, book has light corner tip bumps. Contents are Exc. Drawings and autographs were obtained over a 30+ year period, including personal visits to Joe Shuster’s and Bob Kane’s NYC apartments and Vincent Sullivan’s home. Unique and historic.
