6.25x9.25” hardcover w/dust wrapper by Bob Levin © 2003 Fantagraphics. June, 2003 First Edition. 268 b/w and color pages subtitled “Disney’s War Against the Counterculture”. Front cover of dust wrapper has silhouette of Mickey’s head, back cover reprints Gary Hallgren’s cover to “Air Pirates” #2 underground comic from 1971. Title page has India ink and colored marker art w/self-caricature of O’Neill and two of his “Odd Bodkins” characters trying to console Mickey Mouse who’s saying “I Feel So Used..” O’Neill says “Feel Compassion For Walt. His Father Beat Him For Crissake. Of Course, His Vision Was Twisted. Not You! You’re With Us Now.”. One character says “Don’t Start That Victim Crap. We Won”. The other says “Let’s Party!” Signed below image “Dan O’Neill + Pals”. Top has ink note “Charlie Robert’s Book”. Art was commissioned directly from the artist.
