Item Description
Each is 7.5x10-1/8” w/eight pages. All have “Newark Star-Ledger” imprint. Each has seven page “Spirit” story and last page “Clifford” humor strip by Jules Feiffer. 1949 dates are: Sept. 25, Oct. 16, Nov. 6 & 13. 1950 dates are Jan. 8 & 22. Light aging and minor margin wear. Sections still supple, bright and Fine. Noted cartoonist, author and playwright Feiffer was an assistant to Eisner and “Clifford” was his published comic strip, begun in 1949. Superb art throughout.
