Item Description
From the same set as #973. This card is from the Almendares Scorpions subset. Text variant reading "R. Garcia C. Mamelo" as opposed to the version that reads "Regino Garcia Cr." Small insect hole on hat but image is strong. He won the batting title in 1904 with a .397 average, the first of four consecutive batting titles through 1907. He was inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1941.
