Item Description
From the same set as #973. This card is from the Detroit Tigers subset. Tiny margin sliver off top border but image is strong. William "Silent Bill" Hopke played in the Minor Leagues from 1902 to 1914 with several teams. Hopke also played in the 1909 Cuban-American Major League Clubs Series for the Detroit Tigers, though he never played in a Major League game for Detroit. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
