Vintage glossy 7x9.25" CBS publicity photo shows Ives in winter clothing posing beside his character Sam the Snowman from the 1964 Rankin & Bass stop-motion animated family special "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." Photo has been signed in blue felt tip pen above Sam, w/Ives adding "Best Wishes" inscription. Photo comes w/typed CBS sheet that is dated Nov. 15, 1974. Sheet is lightly aged where originally attached to back of photo (which has faint corresponding glue stain). Exc. Great image for this Christmas classic. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
