8.25x10-7/8" bound program for May 6, 1979 Friars ceremony honoring Johnny Carson w/"Entertainer Of The Year" award. Event took place at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. Cover features nice color photo of late-night host. Program is littered w/bw photos of Friars Club members and honorees and page showing Carson's award. Several advertising pages are dedicated to Carson. Several other pages are dedicated to Carson's career up to then, including numerous photos w/countless celebrities. "Guest Of Honor" page has been signed in dark blue felt tip pen by Carson, Kirk Douglas, Gene Kelly, Lucille Ball (who adds "Love") and Toastmaster Bob Hope. Covers show some wear w/small corner creases and tiny hairline scratches. Fine. Contents Exc. Very limited print run. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
