Item Description
7x9" glossy News Service photo showing MLB first baseman/manager who played most of his career for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers. He was MLB's outstanding first baseman in the 1950s, w/teammate Duke Snider being the only player to have more home runs or runs batted in during the decade. He managed the New York Mets to the 1969 World Series title, one of the greatest upsets in Series history. He is pictured here in his Mets uniform w/a bat over his shoulder. Photo has two "World Telegram & Sun" stamps on reverse. Photo has been boldly signed in black ink. Margins show lt. wear but overall image and signature areas remain Exc. for display. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
