Original release 27x41" glossy poster for 1980 animated film directed by Bill Meléndez, produced by United Feature Syndicate and distributed by Paramount Pictures. It was the fourth full-length feature film to be based on Charles Schulz' "Peanuts" comic strip. Poster shows the main "Peanuts" characters, w/Charlie Brown and Snoopy prominently featured. Poster has been boldly signed in blue felt tip pen by Schulz below image of Snoopy riding jet. Poster has been folded as issued, w/some small creases along fold lines and .25" tears at fold crease intersections. Lower left corner has some faint areas of staining by Snoopy's image. Fine/VF, but signature area remains clean and displays Exc. A Schulz signed poster is a rarity. Comes w/8.5x19" glossy heavy cardboard book display w/easel back for "Peanuts - The Art Of Charles Schulz" book edited by Chip Kidd. Display is unused and has been signed in red felt tip pen by Kidd.
