Item Description
Art boards range in size from 11x14” to 13.75x15.5” w/original pen and ink art by creator George Baker, who has signed all four covers in ink. Art is for Harvey Publications consecutive bi-monthly issues Aug.1960-Feb.1961. Scenes include bouncing on diving board and hitting Sarge in head, spear gun exploding Sarge’s inflatable toy, bayonet causing tire to explode scaring Sarge, hitting Sarge in face w/long ladder. Dog Muttsy is in three of four covers. A few margin pencil notes. Image areas will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. Well drawn and funny.
