Item Description
Art boards range in size from 11.25x14.5” to 14x15.” w/original pen and ink art by creator George Baker, who has signed the first three covers in ink. Art is for Harvey Publications consecutive issues Nov. 1959-March 1960. Scenes include tripping and spilling garbage on General, running deer w/antlers tearing General's pants while he lays on a hammock, Sarge punching Sad Sack into water heater and getting scalded, General w/pistols in tank having run over Sad Sack in foxhole. Dog Muttsy is in three of four covers. A few margin pencil notes. Image areas will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. Well drawn and funny.
