Item Description
9.5" tall painted tin litho robot comes in original box w/nicely illustrated lid. 1960s by Horikawa of Japan. Box has handling wear w/creases and corner tip wear, lid is slightly concave but corners remain free of splits. Fine. Robot is designed w/1.25x1.75" TV screen which lights, shows rocket and spaceship scene. Robot also has siren and rubber "Caterpillar" treads, one of which has broken but is complete and comes along and can be easily placed for display. Features include automatic stop and go and arms raise. All functions work well and despite tread issue, robot still advances well. Toy retains bright and glossy appearance w/only the slightest trace of wear to the tin body. Still a working example, technically Fine considering tread issue, but robot is still VF for display.
