Item Description
11.75" tall tin litho robot w/clear plastic dome on toy of head. 1950s by Yonezawa of Japan, though marked Line-Mar on back. Robot's functions include walking, moving arms and spinning dome light. Robot stops walking, eyes blink and smoke emits from mouth. Toy has scattered wear w/some spider-webbing to head and luster loss to metal accent above raised dial detail on chest and robot's "ears." Legs have scattered tiny paint nicks/scratches and body has scattered wear from use. Lightbulb eyes have some loss of pink coloring to left eye, but eyes still light. A working and Fine example of this classic robot.
