Item Description
Trophy in its entirety measures 24.75" tall to top of included "MTV" logo and softball on top of silver luster cup trophy, which has stem consisting of taped baseball bat handle on baseball diamond-shaped base. Awarded to winners of "Softball Challenge" on MTV TV series in which actors, musicians and other entertainers competed in sports against professional athletes. Originally called "MTV Rock N' Jock Softball," the concept later expanded to include football and basketball. This trophy was awarded during the third annual "Softball Challenge" in 1993. Trophy was made by Robert DuGrenier Assoc. Inc. as noted by small sticker on base. Trophy has "MTV Rock N' Jock Softball Challenge" logo plate (which mentions sponsor Pepsi) on front, which shows scattered aging. Same logo featured on softball at top. The letter "T" in MTV" logo has .75" scratch, but o/w trophy is complete and Fine/VF. Great display piece.
