Item Description
Publisher's file from British publication which had US circulation. A few are dated Dec. 6, 1942, likely a special issue. 14 art boards range in size from 4.5x8” to 9x10” w/art in India ink and gouache. Several boards have figures cut out and glued in place. Images include: 30 full figure German, seven Japanese (three head and shoulders, four full figure), seven full figure Russian. Comes w/20 photo stat sheets w/insignias and uniforms, most of which are glued on art boards. Boards have scattered glue stains and some aging. Original art images are mostly Fine/VF. Interesting and well done comprehensive group.
