Item Description
6.5" tall figural glazed ceramic humidor w/"Defender" sailor Brownie's hat serving as lid. Unmarked w/exception of incised "3226 4C" number underneath base. c. 1890s. Has incised "Defender" name on sailor cap brim. Nice anchor details on collar lapels. Tiny traces of glaze wear to raised areas of hat pom, and .25" glaze flake to top of hat behind pom. Despite this, humidor still displays Exc. from front.
