Item Description
c.1966. All are acrylic on 11x14” acetate covered Crescent illustration boards which have been masked off in black tape to form 9x12” image area. Each has printed title sticker w/numbered scene title on reverse. All are consecutively numbered 1-5. Includes : “Dr. Retriever’s Surprise” w/dog fishing, “The Feather That Was Lost” w/chipmunks cleaning up woods, “Obedience Academy” w/poodle knocking dog off chair, “Silly Excuses” w/mice scouts making friends, “The Fairy Ring” w/fairies and sprites in forest. Art is unsigned, but back of one board has “Martsegis Art & Animation Contractor” ink stamp. Marty Marsegis did animation for Disney and MGM before beginning his Learning Tree educational series. Upper right front corners have chalk numbers, image areas will mat and frame to bright and Exc. appearance. Delightful scenes.
