Item Description
Lot of 24, each about 2.25" to 3" long. Serious defects or substantial loss of silvering is noted. If condition is not specified it is Exc. to NM. In photo order - Figural wild boar, head pops open via push button; figural Bible w/hinged lid, Virgin on front and cross on back (some silvering loss); "Frank C. Roundy" leader of the Shrine fraternal group w/"Oriental - Consistory - April 19-22 - 1909" text on reverse plus "32" degree double eagle symbol; Art Nouveau woman among lily pads, cat tails, etc. (about 25% silver off, but still gorgeous); "Compliments Gruber & Salmar" featuring same design of ornate scrolls/flowers on both sides (most silver off w/lovely brass tone); two double-sided w/same design of man/woman seated on fence rail beneath umbrella w/ornate scrolls, leaves, branches; cowboy lassoing steer (w/silvering loss and reverse missing celluloid panel insert); Native American/American flag (much silvering off, a few brown marks); three deer in forest (reverse missing celluloid panel, only slight silvering loss); woman w/rose front and "Compliments Phil Guiney, Cin. O" reverse (portrait has some denting and much silver off w/small damage along side edge by working hinge); running couple on front, blank back; ornate edges, blank centers; double-sided beautiful basket-weave style pattern; swimming fish among grasses w/shell designs on corners (both sides have about 25% silvering loss but still very nice); " St. Louis World's Fair" w/Jefferson and Napoleon images and Electricity Building (much silver off hinged lid); "Compliments Of 'The Progress' Indianapolis, Ind" (all silver gone but clean brass); figural elephant on hinged lid over tusk (slight silver off lid, couple very slight side dents); stag front, floral oval back (lid was painted, rest has some silver loss); "Anheuser-Busch" logo both sides (brass has darkened w/age); elk front w/geometric reverse (very dark w/age); brass match pack holder; "United Cigars" opens for match pack; "Flint" w/Michigan state seal, opens for match pack.
