Item Description
Lot of 19, measuring between 1-3/8" tall and 2-5/8" tall. 15 marked "Sterling" w/other four being hall-marked safes. All but three feature very ornate designs, including - Art Nouveau woman w/goblet, reverse repeats edge pattern but center area is blank (w/shallow 1/8" dent); high relief stag w/blank reverse; "B.P.O.E." featuring elk and clockface on both sides (replaced hinge pin that holds, but leaves lid a bit wobbly); six w/engraved initials; one w/leaf spray on front. First hall-marked safe has slight 1/8" side edge dent; second has very shallow dents front and back but still displays nicely; third has inlaid heart-shaped stones, likely agate (w/two intact and third missing but w/dark material within opening, likely original adhesive); fourth is very smooth but with all over tiny marks to simulate hammered metal. Unless noted o/w, conditions are Fine to NM. An instant collection.
