Item Description
Lot of 39 different 3.5x5.5" postcards, including one by Tuck, five by Bergman and four by International Art. c. early 1900s-1920. Thanksgiving theme depicts Pilgrims and Native Americans, turkeys, Thanksgiving dinner, harvest scenes, children on large ears of corn, etc. Some interesting designs include - turkey pulling pumpkin cart carrying boy w/American flag, turkey pulling cart w/large pumpkin which has chef seated atop w/large fork and knife and card featuring turkey choir. 19 of the 39 have either writing or are postally used, rest are unused old store stock from a pharmacy. Some designs include embossing and metallic accents. A few have some lt. handling wear and are Fine, most are VF overall. An instant collection. All shown online.
