Item Description
Two sheets, each 15x20" have lead pencil art w/hand-lettered "Spy vs, Spy" logos. First page has six panels w/White Spy dropping a quarter for Black Spy to find outside carnival fence. Black Spy goes in and puts quarter in arcade machine which is designed w/White Spy figure on center post and club mechanism. Black Spy pulls plunger, club starts coming down, and Black Spy is pulled in by treadmill and gets hit w/club. Second page has eight panels. White Spy is underwater setting submarine and torpedo demolition device. Black Spy is fishing in boat, sees sub and torpedo, pushes them together and gets blown up as White Spy congratulates himself. Both are unsigned and c. 1970s. Both sheets are between two sheets of acetate held together on top and bottom blank margin edges w/masking tape, easily removable. Image areas have lt. dust soiling, o/w Fine/VF. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
