Two numbered paper sheets, each 8.5x11, have tight pencil designs for two unused covers, each having 6.75x9.75" image area w/villain Red Skull about to press control button to kill Namora and two other women in "Laser X Terminator" metal caskets as seven Golden Age Timely/Marvel superheroes rush to the rescue. First design has Red Skull w/swastika on chest, second design shows him from his shoulders up w/Human Torch coming around side. Others featured heroes include - Sub-Mariner, Captain America, Vision, Angel, and Destroyer. Both are unsigned. c. 1980. Sheets have lt. margin creases, but image areas are Exc. Comes w/hardcover and softcover varieties of "The Comic Book Price Guide" #10. Both features same Schomburg cover w/Human Torch, Captain America, and Sub-Mariner attacking swastika-shaped Nazi U-Boat base. Both are Exc. and signed in ink on title page by Bob Overstreet. Schomburg (1905-1998) worked in pulps in the 1930s before moving on to Timely where he did over 500 Golden Age comic book covers. Nice examples. From the Robert M.
