Item Description
28.25x40.75" poster printed by the Illinois Litho Co. of Chicago, IL. 1920s. The Sells-Floto Circus was a combination of the Floto Dog & Pony Show and the Sells Brothers Circus that toured w/sideshow acts in the US during the early 1900s before being incorporated into the American Circus Corporation by 1929. Poster features large portrait image of "Rose Millette - The Greatest Bare Back Rider Of All Time" and rest of poster shows her posing beside a horse as a clown offers her a bouquet of flowers. Another rider is seen doing backflip from one horse onto another in bkg. Poster has minor restoration to top of border and some minor scattered dust soiling/age spotting, but as linen-mounted, poster displays Exc. w/bright and bold colors.
