Item Description
7.7513.75x3" deep painted plaster display w/recessed area meant to display bottle of champagne. "Vve. A. Devaux" name incised on front of base w/incised champagne glass and incised "Champagne" text on display bkg., which a tall tuxedo-clad man stands next to. Incised name of artist D'Apres Dryden at man's feet. 1930s. Right side has two .5" chips to top corner w/color touch-ups and 1.25" streak of paint of base side w/color touch-up. Structurally sound and still displays VF overall. Comes w/3.25x4-7/8" trade card w/same image by Dryden on front w/images of two champagne bottles on back. Back has scattered aging/moisture staining but front still displays Exc. Nice pair to display together. Great design.
